Why I love the window seat

Window or aisle?

I choose window. Sure, you have a little less room than your neighbor on the aisle and the need to use the restroom mid-flight suddenly becomes a big ordeal, requiring the entire row to vacate. But you get a headrest in the form of the wall of the plane.

Oh, and the view. You get the view, too.

  1. I’m a fan of the aisle, simply so I don’t have to ask people to move for bathroom trips – but I always find myself trying to (awkwardly) peek past my neighbor in the window seat to look outside!

    1. Yes, asking people to move so I can use the bathroom is the worst – especially on international flights and my row mates have fallen asleep – but I find the views to be worth it! Try a window seat on your next short flight.
